Assam Tea, the Black Gold



1 teaspoon (2 grams) of Assam tea per 240 ml of water to brew a cup of tea. 

For a stronger brew, you can use 2 teaspoons (4 grams). 

Steps: 

  1. Boil water
  2. Let water cool for 10–20 seconds
  3. Add tea to a teapot or infuser
  4. Pour hot water over the tea
  5. Steep for 3–5 minutes
  6. Strain the tea
  7. Serve hot

Optional additions

You can add milk, sugar, or lemon to taste. If you want to add milk, whole or oat milk works well. You can also add a drop of honey
