Blogger

To make green tea correctly using loose leaves, follow the steps below:

1. Heat water to around  85 Celsius (185 F) , don't bring it to a boil. If it has come to a boil,  let it cool down for 30 seconds or so.

2. Add a one teaspon of  loose green tea leaves to a teapot.

3. Pour the water over the leaves, and steep for 2-3 minutes;

4. Use a tea strainer to separate leaves from the brewed tea before pouring into your cup.

Key points to remember:

Water temperature:

Green tea is delicate and should be brewed with water that is just below boiling,

Leaf quantity:  Use a small amount of loose leaves, typically around 1 teaspoons per cup.

Steeping time:

Steep for a short time, usually between 2-3 minutes, to avoid bitterness.

Teapot:

Use a teapot with a strainer to easily separate the leaves from the brewed tea.
